Tech Bay Area Advocates is part of an unrivaled group of over 3.500 tech leaders, experts and investors in 50 different countries. Global Tech Advocates, based in London, landed Tech London Advocates, the first and flagship chapter of the Global Tech Advocates hub. Through convening, communications, working groups and an online platform, Tech Advocates in the Bay Area have access to those in the UK, US, Africa, Middle East, India, China, Latin America, Australia, & New Zealand, and other countries. Tech Bay Area Advocates is dedicated to giving back to the communities is serves with the Tech For Good Working Group. The group formed a scholarship program for underserved youth aspiring to be in Tech. Global Tech Advocates and Tech London Advocates were started by Russ Shaw, an American angel and accredited investor living in London. Russ worked at several tech companies before launching GTA and TLA.
